SGSITS is located in the centre of the city Indore. Everything is very near to it unlike other colleges located far away from city. SGSITS has a rich heritage and was established in 1952. It is one of the oldest and most renowned technical institutes in Central India. SGSITS offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various fields of engineering, technology, and applied sciences. The institute provides courses in disciplines such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and more. The college has completed 70 years and has a wide alumni base. College produces a lot of Gate rankers and Cat toppers every year. These unique aspects make SGSITS a distinguished institution known for its academic rigor, research focus, industry collaboration, and holistic development of students.

The processes are very complicated in manner to join the college. 

1. Eligibility Criteria: candidates seeking admission to JSSTU must fulfill the eligibility criteria specified by the VTU. Generally applicants should have completed their 10+2 or PUC education in silence stream with pass percentage of marks. 
2. Entrance Examination: To join JSSTU, candidates need  to appear for the KCET examination conducted by karnataka examination authority (KEA). It is a state level exam that evaluates candidate's knowledge in subjects such as physics, chemistry and mathematics. 
3. Rank Based Admission: Based on the performance in CET, candidates are assigned a rank. The rank is determined by considering the marks obtained in the entrance exam and the qualifying exams. The higher rank, the better chances of securing seat at JSSTU. 
4. Branch Allocation: JSSTU offers various engineering branches which include computer science, mechanical, electrical, civil, electronics and Comunication and more. The branch allocation is based on the rank obtained in CET and preferences chosen by the candidates during the counseling process.

B.Sc. course at DPGDC is provided in 3 fields. I will tell you the Eligibility Criteria and details about each of them.

1. B.Sc. (Medical)

No. of seats - 80

Eligibility Criteria - 45% marks in 10+2 with 45% aggregate in English, Botany, Zoology and Chemistry/Geology as Compulsory Subjects from a recognised Board or any equivalent examination a se recognised by the university thereto.

2. B.Sc. (Non-Medical)

No. of seats - 400

Eligibility Criteria - 45% marks in 10+2 with 45% aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as Compulsory Subjects from a recognised Board or any equivalent examination as recognised by the university thereto.

3. B.Sc. (Computer Science)

No. of Seats - 160

Eligibility Criteria - 45% marks in 10+2 with 45% aggregate in English, Physics, Computer Science and Mathematics as Compulsory Subjects from a recognised Board or any other equivalent examination as recognised by the university thereto.

DPGDC also provides B.Sc. Honours (Physics, Chemistry, Maths). The Eligibility criteria for this course is same as others.
