Nothing happens if you fail the mid semester only there will be bit loss of CGPA. But if you fail the end semester exam you'll have to again appear for it in next semester. 3 attempts are given for individual subject. There are 2 mid semester exams and mostly best of 2 is considered for the final sessional marking. Even if you miss any one of them try scoring good in the other one . But if you miss end semester exam you'll fail in that subject.

For 2022, Birla Institute of Technology Mesra cut off was 54,555 for General category candidates in All India quota for Integrated M.Sc. in Mathematics and Computing. BIT Mesra B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant. The opening and closing rank at BIT Mesra depends on the category and quota of the candidates. For General category under All India, the opening rank was 51,278 and closing rank was 1,62,346. BIT Mesra Cut offs are differant when it comes to other categories, female candidates or domicile of the home state. BIT Mesra admission to integrated MSc in Food Technology at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Main. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

No, there is no way of getting direct admission in SGSITS. Admissions are given only on the basis of merit. The only way of getting it is through JEE Mains. However if you have reservation it is an advantage. Home state quota is there so most of the students you'll see will be of MP. Reservations are based on gender as well as caste and also on income basis.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra other than General category are - 1,49,213 for SC category, 3,03,602 for ST category, 37,913 for EWS category and 2309 for PWD category. While the BIT Mesra admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State quota. It also varies if the applicant is a female.
