The students must clear Common Nursing Entrance Examination and Counselling conducted by West Bengal University of Health Sciences. The total vacant seats are 40. Female candidates with 10+2 and General Nursing & Midwifery qualification along with the service experience are eligible for this course.

10+2 class passes from recognised board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board with Science (PCB) and English Core/Elective with an overall grade of 45%.

You must pass 10+2 from well known board in Science stream. Admissions are mainly done on the basis of merit. If you want to get in top colleges like Delhi Paramedical and Management Institute, Sharda University, GD Goenka University etc. You have to clear the entrance test conducted by University itself such as SUAT DPMI and GATA.

CUET biotechnology syllabus is divided into 2 parts A and B. In part A, 25 objective questions will be asked including Eng, General Awareness, Mathematical Aptitude and Analytical skills and in part B, 75 objective questions will be asked including techniques, chromatin structure and function, biochemistry, biotechnology, microbiology, molecular genetics, plant sciences and animal sciences.
