It depends from college to college
Admission for MSc Biotechnology is done through either a merit-based system or entrance exams. BHU PET, etc. Are some of the popular entrance exams for MSc Biotechnology. Some institutions provide merit-based admission for MSc Biotechnology.
The most preferred colleges of candidates of MSc Biotechnology. Loyola College, Chennai, Fergusson College, Pune, Stella Maris College, and Christ University. The course has an average fee of Rs.1,50,000.
Also the colleges like JMI , IIT has a fees around 30000-50000

The cutoff may vary from subject to subject as of bsc maths for all candidates is around 184 and above and depends upon difficulty of examination .
