There are many institute in Maharashtra for B.Sc. Agriculture such as Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Pune, Dr DY Patil College of Agriculture Business Management, Pune, YCMOU Nashik, Dr Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Ratnagiri, VNMKV Parbhani, Shivaji University Kolhapur etc. If you want to study from Punjab You can try Chandigarh University which provide scholarship also. You have to appear in CUCET test which do not have any negative marking. If you score 100 % marks you will be given total wave off in fees.

Yes, of course the practical is a must. For admission in University of Agriculture Sciences, you have to clear the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET), conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Fulfillment of eligibility criteria is a must for the application for entrance. After that candidates meeting the cutoff have to appear for KCET counselling, conducted by KEA and select UAS Bangalore.

Cut off for any subject depends on different institutes. You have to find out by contacting different institutes. But I can suggest you a very good institute for B.Sc. This is one of the best private institutes. this university provides a large infrastructure. every facility needed for this course is available. you must go for this option.
