It is a good choice as the highest package offered was around INR 11.5 LPA, the average was INR 7.5 LPA, and the lowest was INR 5 LPA. The placement percentage of the college was 78%. Most of the students who don't get placed are either interested in further studies or qualified in GATE. The moral is if you want campus placements and are hard-working, you will get it. It's a college of Panjab University, so the infrastructure is amazing with Wi-Fi facility, library, labs, and every other facility. Hostel rooms are good, and the fee is very low. I'm a hosteller. Quality of food in the canteen and mess is better than other colleges. I'm from the chemical department, and our college follows the course curriculum of IIT, Kanpur which is fully related to our stream. The faculty members are not that good except for some, but the seniors here help you a lot. Eleven students of our college are in the top 100 rankers in GATE 2017, and the others got good placements. Various fests are organized throughout the year, and the campus is awesome.
