Admission to M.Tech in Polymer, Materials Science & Technology and Microelectronics and ME programme is done on the basis of CET PG conducted by the university. Admission to M.Tech in Nanoscience & Nanotechnology and Instrumentation is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. Students who have passed Master's Degree in relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks (50% for the reserved category) are considered eligible to join M.Phil. And Ph.D. course. Admission to the course at some other colleges/ institutes, however, is based on the candidate's scores in the qualifying exam, i.e. classes X and XII. Subsequently, a merit list is prepared, based on which seats are allotted to the shortlisted candidates.
