Hello Roshan,
I am afraid your 45% in the qualifying exam of class 12th will turn out to be your undoing. The eligibility conditions states that the general category students must obtain at least 50% marks in the class 12th examination. You should go for CUSAT. Your rank is good and you will get a seat easily. Now, selecting between b tech and M.Sc. Photonics should be solely on your interest. Although opportunities are higher after completing b tech degree. Best of luck.
