You should go for Diploma in medical laboratory technology. The course is an allied health/paramedical course that is concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases through laboratory tests. This will help in both the purposes you mentioned.

For occasionally in holidays it's better to learn c langauge and cpp language .
For career choosing courses it's better to choose in btech but select the different streams like artificial intelligence ,biotechnology ,5 years integrated courses like that

I can find only one college in Delhi-NCR, i.e. Institute of Home Economics, Hauz Khas, Delhi where you can do B.Sc. (Hons) in Food Technology.
