Hi,
There is a difference in the merit list every year. It is difficult to confirm the same. You can get that checked form the college alumni or from the current students of the college.

In case he is not happy with the course he did or is doing, it's completely fine if he switches the course to BBA. I am sure he will study BBA with all his interest and dedication since he wants to enter this field. To have a look at the colleges offering BBA. In Mumbai or anywhere else, please check this link- https://www.shiksha.com/bba/colleges/bba-colleges-india.

In Delhi University's scenario, it isn't. You can get admission with both your PCM and PCB percentage which ever is higher. But there's around a 3% relaxation for PCBM students, though not sure if it criteria still persist. Furthermore, DU offers only B.Sc. Honours degree in Food technology. If you wanna go for B.Tech in Food Technology then it might be better to have an option of maths and drop biology.
