You should mention which field you want to join, in your question. Also, What is your specialisation in M.Sc. It is difficult to answer without complete information, So I am answering as per my experience. Regulatory and Pharmacovigilance fields are good to join in MNCs like Sunpharma, Abott, Matrix, Hindustan Unilever, fresenius kabi and others having good product portfolio. IPR field but in law firms like Anand n Anand etc. Teaching in coaching institutes like Aakash, perks are awesome here. R &D of companies like BASF. Marketing field for companies like Agilent or waters is also good for pay. But most of the top MNCs in India hardly hire for freshers. If they do, then search is for person having very good technical knowledge. Mostly they look for person with experience. For off campus I am not aware. You can upload or send your CV to the concerned company or whenever there is walking.

I am in 4th year B.Tech and have been in a similar position in my 3rd year and this is what I have to say. There are alot of entrance exams apart from JAM such as GATE-Physics, CSIR-NET, JEST and TIFR entrance. Based on these, you can enter any great university such as IISC Bangalore, IIT M, TIFR or numerous research institutes such as RRI, HRI, BARC, or various research institutes. Just search and download a brochure of these exams to you'll get a knowledge of all possible options. So, if your interest is basically research, then there are alot of great institutes as an option. Great research work is going on there in many institutes and main field of research in a lot of these is Condensed Matter Physics. Quantum computation is also a field of research in some of these like HRI. I don't think it is easy and plausible to predict what kind of a job you will be doing after Ph.D. You can be a scientist in government. Insti or a company or a Teacher or a freelancer, or a lot of things you won't be able to imagine right now. So, the best option you have right now is study hard and get into a great institute.

The admission procedure for B.Sc. In Nautical Science is not as simplistic as other undergraduate courses:
* First thing would be to shortlist a maritime institute or college that matches your location, financial capabilities, and other relevant preferences. * Next step would be to clear the entrance exam (if any) as conducted by the university or college. * The test is followed by a string of medical tests and psychometric examinations to assess the candidate's physical feasibility for the course. * Once the candidate clears all the tests, he or she may need to undergo a brief pre-sea training programme before admission is confirmed.
