Hello Ganesh, GATE is generally an entrance test used for admission for PG courses in India. However, a few universities in Singapore and Germany accept GATE scores for admission. From Singapore, National University of Singapore (NUS) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and from Germany, Technical University of Munich and RWTH Aachen, Germany, admit Indian students to the post graduate engineering courses based on this exam. Apart from this, the students have to qualify the language proficiency test as required by the universities.

Always remember, you should pursue a course based on your interest and skills as it will help you to achieve your long term career goals. After completing B.Tech, you have two options:
1) You may opt for M.Tech if you wish to study the technical aspect of the branch.
2) You may pursue MBA if you wish to move your career towards management line. You have another option with you, i.e. you may plan to work in private or public sector industries of various types. Dear friend, As per my personal opinion and experience after completing 12th class with commerce, you can use a number of options like you can go for simple graduation that is B.Com (H) and B.Com pass course or you can go for CA, CS or you can also go for BBA, BCA, Hotel Management. All these courses have a good scope and very good future along with good job opportunities. Thank you very much.

According to my views and experience, BA with maths and economics is beneficial in SSC CGL as CGL has four parts and one part is totally based on it. Thank you and have a great future ahead.
