Yes, of course, you can join.

After completing commercial pilot license training and clearing CPL exams conducted by DGCA, you will be issued a CPL License by DGCA.
The minimum eligibility for doing this training is 12th with PCM 50% marks.
Your engineering degree shall be an additional qualification but will not add in any way for the issue of CPL. Although it shall find a place in your CV.

If you are willing for jobs, then first decide what kind of job you can do? Then how can you get that job? What are necessary qualification for that job? Then make steps accordingly. And if you only want to study. Then there are lots of scope. Post-graduation and doctorates also.
