Eligibility Criteria:
In order to take their first step and seek admission into any of the top hotel management colleges in India, students do need to have at least 50% in 10+2. Furthermore, the candidate should be at least 17 years of age.
Admission Process:
Almost, all hotel management institutes, colleges, and universities across India do follow their pre-set admission processes for different hotel management courses that have a due place for common entrance tests scores.

Some of the popular common entrance tests for admission into Bachelors in Hotel Management (BHM), B.Sc Hotel Management and BBA Hotel Management include NCHMCT JEE, AIMA UGAT and IIHM E-CHAT.
Several central, state and private IHMs across India accept NCHMCT JEE scores, some of which include IHM-Delhi, IHM-Bengaluru, IHM-Bhopal, DAIHM-Chandigarh, IHM-Guwahati, IHM-Srinagar, IHM-Gangtok, SIHM-Kozhikode, Rayat & Bahra, IHM-Mohali and SRM IHM-Chennai.
Institutes that accept AIMA UGAT scores are Dina Institute Pune, Desh Bhagat Institute of Management and Computer Science, SAMS IHM Varanasi, Maharishi Arvind IHM & CT Jaipur and Lourdes Matha IHM.
Conducted by International Institute of Hotel Management, IIHM E-CHAT is yet another popular common entrance test. Colleges and institutes that give due weightage to IIHM E-CHAT scores include IIHM-Delhi, Kolkata, IIHM-Bangalore, IIHM-Pune, IIHM-Jaipur, IIHM-Ahmedabad and IIHM-Hyderabad.
