To give a judgement with your score might be dicey. In general, people scoring 70 percentile and above do get a chance to give GD and PI. This does not give any surety regarding your selection. For IES, your score is just one parameter and others are based on your performance in GD and PI and if you have any work experience then it would add on to your score. So, as of now, start preparing for GD and PI.

Its very good to pursue M. Sc (Microbiology) after B. Sc microbiology.
Youll be acquiring knowledge at a higher level than what you studied during your bachelors degree, and the course should help you develop the necessary skills for your field of work.
With a postgraduate qualification on your CV, securing a good graduate job is more likely, and the possibility of attracting a higher salary is increased. This will leave you feeling confident that the time and money invested in your postgraduate education was worth it.
