Successful completion of graduation (B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. ), from a recognised university. A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) at the level of graduation. Regards.

I am a Masters in chemistry, and I am pursuing MBA currently. You should understand that what you want to do, you want to do research or you want to join corporate in your future. I tell you one thing clearly, it is very tough to get a job in pure Science stream. Yes, you can apply for UGC NET environmental sciences. But, make sure you have minimum 55% aggregate marks (for general category) or 50% aggregate marks (for SC/ST/PwD/OBC categories). As per the eligibility criteria for JRF, your age must not be more than 30 years and for assistant there is no restriction on age. For both JRF and assistant professor, there is no limits on number of attempts.
