Candidates need minimum 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST, Category I, 2A, 2B, 3A ,3B) in Class 12 with English, Physics and Mathematics as compuslory subjects and one of Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer/ Electronics to be eligible for BTech admission in SDM Institute of Technology.

Candidates need to have minimum 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ ST/ OBCs of Karnataka) taken together in all the subjects of the final year of Diploma in engineering to be eligible for admission through lateral entry at SDM Institute of Technology.

The candidate should have passed class 12 with physics, mathematics as compulsory subjects and chemistry/biotechnology/ computer/ electronics/ biology any one as an optional subject with 45% aggregate marks for general category students and 40% aggregate marks for reserved category students.
