SGT University admission process starts with registration for the preferred course. Candidates can fill out the application form offline or apply on the university website. SGT University selects candidates for most of the UG courses based on CUET scores. The university accepts CUET-PG for PG courses such as MBA, MSc, MPharm, etc. Besides, candidates must also fulfil the eligibility criteria to apply for admission.

SGT University eligibility criteria varies course-wise. However, the aggregate requirement for most of the courses ranges between 50% aggregate to 60% aggregate. For bachelor's courses such as BTech, candidates need a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 12.  Hence, candidates with 60% or more in Class 12 can apply for admission to any of the UG programmes.

Candidates can join SGT University only after getting shortlisted for the applied course. The selection criteria varies course-wise. Candidates need to pass CUET-UG for admission to courses such as BSc, BCA, etc. For MSc, MBA, MTech, etc. aspirants require CUET-PG score. Besides, NEET conducted by NTA is accepted for BAMS and MBBS programmes. For all other courses, merit of the candidates is considered for admission.

Yes, it is worth pursuing MDS from SGT University. The university has been ranked #42 by India Today in 2023 under the Dentral ranking category. Moreover, the starting salary and pay scales are also high as well as it gets better with time for the MDS graduates. Further, MDS student can also opt for the teaching profession and simultaneously do private practice. Many private dental colleges offer an MDS student the position of a lecturer.

Yes, the university may reserve certain seats (25%) for candidates, who belong to the state of Haryana. Additionally, out of 25%, the 10% of seats are for SC category candidates. For seat allotment under reserved categories, aspirants are required to submit the category certificates. For more details about seat reservation, aspirants are advised to reach out to the university admission office.

The university admit candidates to the PG programme based on merit in NEET MDS/NEET-PG. Candidates with a valid exam score are selected and seats are allotted through a centralised counselling process. Apart from this, it is necessary that aspirant hold a valid BDS degree to become eligible for admission in this course. The eligible candidates can apply by completing the application process. In addition, the admission form is made available online and can be collected from the university admission office as well.
