Yes, SJMSOM has signed MoUs with a number of foreign universities and institutes for its Student Exchange Programme. Some of the notable institutes/universities with which it has signed MoUs include Kellogg Graduate School of Management, University of Connecticut, Hoseo University and BaaN Institute.

Yes, IIT Bombay has a separate school for Management education, i.e. SJMSOM. The two-year MBA at SJMSOM-IIT Bombay is the flagship course of this school. It is a full-time residential course for graduates willing to pursue a career in Management.

SJMSOM offers a wide range of scholarships to students. On the basis of students’ performance in the semester exams, 20% of the students are beneficiaries of the scholarships which come from multiple endowment funds. In addition to this, a few other SJMSOM scholarships are available centrally from IIT Bombay. In addition to the academic scholarships, SJMSOM also offers a few fellowships to the PhD students. Based on the qualifications of the students, they are entitled to a stipend amount ranging from INR 25,000 to INR 28,000 per month during their course.

The placement rate recorded during SJMSOM IIT Bombay MBA placements 2023 was 100%. The highest and average package offered during SJMSOM IIT Bombay MBA placements 2023 stood at INR 54 LPA and INR 28.88 LPA, respectively. Further, SJMSOM IIT Bombay recorded 100% summer placement rate for the Management batch of 2022-24. Other than this, the highest and average stipend offered during SJMSOM IIT Bombay MBA summer placements for the 2022-24 batch stood at INR 4.40 Lakhs and INR 3.03 lakhs, respectively.

Aspirants with a four-year Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in any discipline with 60% aggregate (55% aggregate for SC/ST) can apply. Further, CA, ICWA, CFA, CS, or FRM with a first-class bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 60% aggregate (55% aggregate for SC/ST) can also apply. SJMSOM IIT Bombay also accept applications from candidates appearing for the final degree examination. However, in such a case, the final admission is subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility conditions at the time of admission.

The fee for the hostel is 20,000, and the fee for the mess is an additional 20,000. It is very affordable. Mess food is good as compared to the other colleges. However, for international students, the Semester Mess Advance is INR 13000 per semester or INR 40000 for 2 years, and the Mess Advance is to be paid at the time of joining the hostel and is INR 2000 (one time).
