Situation Test has 20% weightage, and is an important deciding factor, in your admission. Situation Test is for the students who have applied for Bachelor of Design Programme are called for Situation Test after clearing their written test. In situation test student is required to create a three dimensional model with various materials provided; based on a specific topic or theme mentioned. The students is provided with materials like, ice cream sticks, mount board, color papers, straws, thread etc. They are given three hours to make a three dimensional model. The model is evaluated on space visualization, innovative and creative use of given material, composition of elements, color scheme, construction skill, finesse of the model and overall presentation etc. These parameters will be checked with the write up explaining the concept behind the model constructed. And the candidates are assessed for their Quality of Material Manipulation, Innovative Ideas, Aesthetic Appeal, Neatness, Conceptualization Skills and Working Methodology.

Corporate communications are generally written communications that occur among the different departments of a company or any higher authority. Therefore for being in Public relations one needs to be comfortable in public speaking and promoting brand while corporate needs good written communication skills. Corporate Communications mainly deals with the written and, at times, oral communication that needs to be done in order to keep all the stakeholders informed of a company vision, mission and strategic objectives. It involves internal as well as external communication, depending on who needs to know what. Whereas Public Relations use the external communications prepared by Corporate Communications to generate a positive image of the company. It uses mediums like press releases, social media, public activities, presentations etc. To create public interest in the products/services rendered by a company. Many a time, Public Relations team works closely with Corporate Communications team to identify external audiences (their tears too) and prepare appropriate external communication messages and publication materials. Both have good scope int heir respective field
Scope of Public Relations in India PR as an industry though has growth, there is also lack of skilled professionals, which makes the career a pool of opportunities for newcomers who have polished sof skills and experience. There are agencies popping up everywhere, because every organisation, every client who has a public profile needs to be groomed and showcased in a positive manner.

The questions asked in the interview are pretty generic but if you try to bloat they will catch you and ask difficult questions. For example, if you say you love fashion, they will ask you why. So, be prepared for that. If you are planning to go into styling or designing, get your information about the top Indian and international designers (or stylists) and know your favourites (they can also ask why is the designer your favourite). It's always better to take a portfolio no matter what course you are joining cuz in the end all courses here are the creative kind and a good portfolio always helps one to stand out. You can add in your sketches, your photography, tour craft work, anything that brings our the artist in you. Lastly, dress semi-formally and be experimental with your fashion choice. It is appreciated here. Most of all have fun, it's not a hard drill.

Practice Illustrations:
To make a career in the field of design, one must practice illustrations. In order to crack AIEED 2018, you must practice the art of drawing and sketching. The total time you devote to your practice will surely reflect in your diagrams, and eventually in your entrance exam. One of the best ways to practice illustrations is to have good knowledge about shading, charcoal drawing and colour combinations (water colour, plastic colour etc. )

In order to increase your speed of attempting questions, you must take various mock tests and practice as many sample papers as possible since these will enhance your thinking skills and gradually your accuracy will also improve.
