To receive financial aid from Shiv Nadar University, candidates are required to submit certain documents that justify their requirements and need for the fees to pursue the course. Moreover, at the time of filling out the application form, candidates must submit the financial aid form. All applicants are required to submit the following documents with their form of financial assistance:
- Income Tax Returns of all earning members of the family.
- Address Proof.
- Bank Account Statements of all family members.
- School Fee Receipt (s) of the applicant for Class 12.

To get admission in B.Tech at Shiv Nadar University, college students need to pass 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Math, and get as a minimum 60–70% marks.
Admission is primarily based on JEE, SNUSAT, SAT, or ACT rankings.
Scholarships are given for excessive marks, JEE rank, sports activities, or low family earnings.
Some students stand up to 100% fee waiver.

The university campus has a central library. It has a ship-like structure, which is centrally air-conditioned and has all the basic amenities, such as reading tables, fans, water coolers, etc. The iconic Shiv Nadar IoE Central Library has a wide range of books, scientific and technical journals, and electronic reference materials. Find below the timings of the library:

Shiv Nadar Hostel fees for first-year undergraduate students of BTech, BSc, BMS, BA, and B.Des courses are INR 175,840, which includes the living expenses, mess charges, and laundry. This charge is for twin-sharing non-AC rooms. Any other type of accommodation, including AC or single rooms, will be charged additionally. For PhD students, the hostel fees are tabulated below:
