Sri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) located at Katra, in Kashmir, India. It's NIRF ( National Institute of Ranking Framework) is 151 .

The total number of seats in B.Tech programme of SMVDU is 350.

110 for computer Science engeenering,  

90 for electronics and communication engeenering,  

60 for mechanical engineering,  

60 for civil engineering,  

And 30 for electrical engineering. 

As per the latest information, the overall cut-off varies from 357-367 for the M.Tech courses at SMVDU.

To be spoken separately the expected cut-off for "computer and Science engeenering" is 357, 361 for "system engeenering" and 367 for "electronic and communication engeenering".

I think both SLIET and SMVDU are reputed institutes for B.Tech in India.

Ine Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University there are many top recruiters that used to recruit students every year which include infosys, TCS, Wipro, jio, Accenture, cognizant, HDFC Bank, Samsung, ICICI Bank, IBM, cognizant, firstchoice, Bosch, LNT Infotech, Airtel, SBI, JSW, trident group, LNT technology services, ITC, tech Mahindra.coca-cola, fanuc, Vodafone idea, Berger, HDFC mutual fund. There are many other companies that recruit in SMVDU

The selection process for B.Tech course is JEE MAINS.

The minimum score required for any course at this institute is 80 marks.

But for good branches like CSE and ECE one should score between 90-100.

The above mentioned marks are for general catergory male students.

There is reservation for OBC, ST, SC and female students so they can assume their cutoff 10-20 marks less than the above mentioned marks.

The fees for UG courses at SMVDU depends on the different disciplines available like B.Sc and B.Tech .

The tuition fees for B.Sc courses is Rs 1,50,000 to Rs 3,00,000.
