No, JEE Mains scores are not compulsory for admission to BTech courses at SRMCEM Lucknow. Because the college also accepts CUET UG scores for admission to BTech courses. However, 85% of the seats for the BTech course at SRMCEM Lucknow are reserved for the candidates who secured valid scores in JEE Mains, followed by UPTAC counselling.
Hence, one can say JEE Mains is not the only entrance exam that is compulsory for admission to the BTech course at SRMCEM Lucknow. However, it is one of the considered entrance exams.

The minimum eligibility requirement for admission to the BTech course at SRMCEM Lucknow and KIET Ghaziabad is almost similar, in which candidates are required to complete their Class 12 from the Science stream. Moreover, both institutions also accept JEE Mains for admission to the BTech course.

Now, it is tough to compare which college is easier to get admission into the BTech course. However, candidates can compare both colleges' competitiveness to get admission into both colleges after evaluating their cutoffs. The total number of seats offered in the BTech course at SRMCEM is 930. Whereas, GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management offers 1,620 seats for BTech courses. Therefore, GL Bajaj Greater Noida offers the highest number of seats in the BTech course. Moreover, the eligibility requirements and admission process for both colleges is almost similar for BTech courses, which requires candidates to complete their Class 12 from Science stream

Additionally, for the selection process, both of the colleges accept JEE Mains scores, followed by UPTAC counselling.

The total tuition fee for the BTech course at SRMCEM Lucknow ranges from INR 2.4 Lacs to INR 4.1 lakh. Additionally, the tuition fee for BTech at KIET Group of Institutions ranges from INR 2.4 Lacs - INR 4.5 lakh. Hence, the tuition fee of SRMCEM Lucknow is slightly more affordable than KIET Group of Institutions. Moreover, fee structure is the only component that candidates can consider for comparing colleges. SRMCEM Lucknow has not released official placement 2025 data for the BTech course. As per some of the verified reviews of Shiksha and previous placements statistics, the highest placement package offered to BTech graduates stood at INR 48 LPA. The total seat intake for BTech courses at SRMCEM Lucknow is 930. These seats are distributed among its offered specialisations. The eligibility requirements to get admission into these BTech seats are that applicants must complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream or PM/Computer Science for BTech in CSE specialisations.
