Their relative merit lists are decided on the marks/ ranks secured in the CUET UG. SRMGPC takes UPSEE scores into consideration of accepting admissions on its BTech programmes. The test checks students in an area such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Short listing is only done among those who pass the cut off criterion. It is also by document verification and payment of fees that one is admitted.

To be considered fit to take BTech at SRMGPC, students must have achieved at least 45 percentage marks of Class 12 (40 percentage marks by reserved category). They ought to have taken Physics and Mathematics as majors. To be selected, a valid UPSEE score is necessary. At SRMGPC, admissions are according to the AKTU rules.
