The average package offered in recent placements is not out yet. As per the NIRF report 2024, the median package offered to BPharma and MPharma students during 2023 placements stood at INR 1.20 LPA and INR 1.87 LPA, respectively. The 2023 or 2024 placement data is unavailable for Engineering courses. Earlier, out of 363 BTech students 85 were placed successfully during 2022 placements. Further, the median package stood at INR 3.75 LPA. Over the past three years (2020 to 2022), the number of BTech students placed has been fluctuating. On the other hand, the median package has improved from 2020 to 2022. The SHUATS BTech placement trends are illustrated below:

The official placement report or brochure is yet to be released. However, the NIRF report 2024 is out, which incorporates the 2023 statistics. Out of 50 BPharma graduates 1 was placed in the 2023 drive. Further, 2 out of 6 MPharma students were placed. The University has not released the placement rate for recent drives. However, the total strength and the number of students placed in Engineering and Pharmacy UG and PG courses are released in the NIRF report 2023. As per the report, 85 BTech and 4 M.Tech students were placed in 2022. Further, 8 BPharma and 2 MPharma students were placed. Check the below table for SHUATS placement trends:

The eligibility criteria for admission to the B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering programme at SHUATS are available. Candidates must have passed 12th grade with a minimum of 50% marks, and the mandatory subjects are Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics/ Mathematics and Biology. Admission to the programme is based on online/offline counseling conducted basis SOET/merit in Class 12. The prospectus for 2023 also states that candidates appearing in the bachelor's degree examination in 2023 are eligible to apply provisionally for admission and appear in the SHUATS Online.

SHUATS utilizes an entrance examination for B.Tech admissions. The admission process for B.Tech programs at SHUATS is primarily based on a university-conducted entrance examination, typically held in May each year. Application submissions commence in February. This entrance exam, known as the SHUATS Online Entrance Test (SOET) for Agriculture & Pharmacy, is administered online. All candidates aiming to secure admission in undergraduate programs must participate in this All India Entrance Test organized by the university.
