You can apply directly to NIELIT Gangtok by following the admissions procedures, of course. Enrollment in short-term courses is available all year round and is based on merit. Admission to non-formal courses is held twice a year, in January and July. Press announcements (Sikkim Express, Hamro Prajashakti, Dainik Jagran, etc.) and the center's website (nielit.gov.in/gangtok) are occasionally used to announce admittance. According to information provided by NIELIT Gangtok, there are four specialisations available for the UG Diploma programme.
A 200-hour Advanced Diploma in Computer Application Accounting and Publishing (Part Time-Classroom) programme is offered. There are 8,100 INR in total tuition costs. To be eligible for the course, candidates must have passed their 10+2 from an accredited board.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India, founded the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Gangtok, as one of its units.
