Sikkim University has not released the 2025 placement statistics yet. However, the NIRF report for 2024 is out. According to the report,  2 UG (3-year),  18 PG (2-year), and 2 PG (3-year) students were placed during Sikkim University placements 2023. The median package offered to UG (3-year) students was INR 7 LPA. For PG courses, the median package ranged between INR 2.50 LPA and INR 7.50 LPA. Sikkim University offers 100% placement assistance. Yes, M.A in Political Science course is offered at Indira Gandhi Tribal University (IGNTU), Manipur and Sikkim University, regional campus Manipur. IGNTU Manipur offers Political Science M.A and also Ph.D programs in political science. Sikkim university also provides M.A, M.Phil and Ph.D programs in political science. According to the information available on the official website of Shiksha, the average placement package offered to MBA graduates at SMIT Sikkim, Manipal University, is INR 4.8 lakh. On the other hand, the average package offered to MBA graduates at Tezpur University is INR 8 lakh. 

In conclusion, Tezpur University, offers the highest average package for MBA courses compared to SMIT Sikkim, Manipal University.

To get a PG scholarship at SMIT, Manipal University, MCA students are required to achieve good grades in their BCA/BSc (Computer Science)/ BSc. IT/BE (CSE)/BTech (CSE)/BE (IT)/BTech IT or any graduation degree (BCom/BA/BVoc/etc.), preferably with Mathematics. This scholarship is offered on the basis of merit and provided as a concession on tuition fee. Check out the eligibility criteria for the scholarships below:
