SKUAST Jammu is a good option for M.F.Sc. (Master of Fisheries Science)in Aquaculture, if you are interested in working within this region or focusing on cold-water fisheries and aquaculture. However, if you are seeking modern updated technologies or more best industry placements, you can explore other specialised fisheries universities as well.
The university’s placement support is more limited in comparison to other institutions that have stronger links with the private sector in aquaculture.

SKUAST Jammu does not guarantee 100% placement for its students, as placement results can depend on different factors like academic performance, skills, job market conditions, and personal initiative .But the university provides placement assistance through its placement cell offering opportunities with both government and private organizations, achieving 100% placement is generally not easy for agricultural universities.
