The authorities will use the HPCET cutoff for seat allotment and admission process. The candidates who meet the HPCET cutoff will have higher chances of allotment. However, they will not be guaranteed admissions as other factors will also be considered for HPCET admissions. The authorities will prepare the cutoff of HPCET to shortlist the candidates for admissions into the various BTech courses offered by the participating institutes.

KEA releases the seat allotment list after candidates have exercised choice filling and option locking. A list of the candidates who have been allotted a seat in the Karnataka NEET 2025 counselling will be published on the official website dedicated to KEA counselling. The seat allotment list will be prepared on the basis of the merit of a candidate and the choices filled by him/her.

There are three BTech specialisations for BTech at IIIT Bhagalpur namely Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering. Mechatronics Engineering has 33 seat allocated, meanwhile other two specialisations have 66 seat each. Admissison to the BTech specialisations includes a valid scoe from the JEE Main exam followed by counselling.

IIIT Kota offers BTech in four specialisation i.e. Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechatronics and Automation Engineering and Mathematics & Computing. The total seat intake by the BTech course is 344 which is divided among all the specialisation. Computer Science & Engineering or CSE has a seat the intake of 165 which the highest among all specialisations. IIIT Kota admission to the flagship BTech course is completely entrance-based.
