The eligibility criteria to get admission into BTech courses at SMIT Sikkim, Manipal University is candidates must complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved category). Moreover, for some of the BTech specialisation, candidates who have Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology / Biology / Chemistry, etc., are also eligible to apply.
Further, the institute accepts the scores of entrance examination for admission to BTech courses. SMUT accept the valid scores from any of the following; JEE/ MET/ SMET (SMIT Entrance Test).

The seats for MBA courses offered by SMIT can be secured only by entrance exam, followed by GD and PI. SMIT, Sikkim, has no agents or middlemen for admissions. There is no donation or capitation fee of any kind. There are no management seats too for MBA courses. Candidates are advised to apply directly to the institute through online or offline mode. They are cautioned against going through any agents.
