The seats for MBA courses offered by SMIT can be secured only by entrance exam, followed by GD and PI. SMIT, Sikkim, has no agents or middlemen for admissions. There is no donation or capitation fee of any kind. There are no management seats too for MBA courses. Candidates are advised to apply directly to the institute through online or offline mode. They are cautioned against going through any agents.

The total fee for an MBA course at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology is INR 6.6 lakh. On the other hand, Assam Don Bosco University MBA fees are INR 5.2 lakh. Hence, Assam Don Bosco University is more affordable for MBA courses compared to SMIT. However, to consider which institute is the best option for an MBA, the fee structure can be one component that candidates can consider, but several other factors can be counted while competing with the universities, such as placement package, recognition, average packages, ranking, accreditation, etc.
