You are on the right path. You can do it from any college of your choice. Most of the rank holders in IAS are social science graduates. Start preparing for IAS, keep reading newspapers for current affairs, solve mathematical and logical reasoning questions and GK.

Hi,
Sociology is a subject which can fetch you good jobs in teaching field. Since its not a technical field so getting a job placement through college might be difficult. But, you can do higher studies in this subject and work as school teacher or lecturer in college. If you have the passion for studies you can study further and do PhD.
There are many options but the choice is yours.
So, choose wisely.
All the best.
