The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Sonepat (IIIT, Sonepat) is an Indian Institute of Information Technology in Sonepat, Haryana. The academic session of IIIT Sonepat began in 2014 with its mentor Institute National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra. The institute has around 650+ students and 45+ faculty members.

The first semester of the IIIT Sonepat BTech commences in the last week of July and ends by the last week of November. The second semester starts in the first week of January and ends in the first week of May. Candidates can apply online.

Some of the top recruiters of IIIT Sonepat include Flipkart, IBM, Accolite, Virtusa Polaris and Aricent. In addition, large number of IIIT Sonepat alumni are placed in the Engineering sector with 70 percent share according to unofficial sources.

IIIT Sonepat accepted various national-level entrance exams. These exams include JEE main, DASA, GATE, UGC NET, and CSIR NET. Candidates who clear the entrance exam need to proceed with the counselling process. The remaining seats are filled with CSAB Counselling for the final admission.

IIIT Sonepat offers PhD course. The PhD course fee is INR 1.4 lakh. The institute offers PhD for 2 years. Candidates must pass entrance exam for admission. The institute accepts GATE, UGC NET, and CSIR NET scores.
