The first semester of the IIIT Sonepat BTech commences in the last week of July and ends by the last week of November. The second semester starts in the first week of January and ends in the first week of May. Candidates can apply online.

Some of the top recruiters of IIIT Sonepat include Flipkart, IBM, Accolite, Virtusa Polaris and Aricent. In addition, large number of IIIT Sonepat alumni are placed in the Engineering sector with 70 percent share according to unofficial sources.

IIIT Sonepat accepted various national-level entrance exams. These exams include JEE main, DASA, GATE, UGC NET, and CSIR NET. Candidates who clear the entrance exam need to proceed with the counselling process. The remaining seats are filled with CSAB Counselling for the final admission.

IIIT Sonepat offers PhD course. The PhD course fee is INR 1.4 lakh. The institute offers PhD for 2 years. Candidates must pass entrance exam for admission. The institute accepts GATE, UGC NET, and CSIR NET scores.

The total fee of the IIIT Sonepat BTech course is INR 7.2 lakh. The PhD fee is around INR 1.4 lakh. IIIT Sonepat offers BTech course in Computer Science and Technology and Information Technology.

IIIT Sonepat offers a full-time BTech programme for four years. The programme is offered in CSE and Information Technology. IIIT Sonepat also provides PhD course and the duration of the course is for two years.
