In order to get admitted to GIET Sonepat, you must receive at least a 50% in your class 12 Diploma from a recognised board in any stream. Next, submit an online application through the official GIET Sonepat website, with a 500 rupee minimum fee for all categories. Next, take the HSTES or Jee major exam and pass one of these tests with a high score. After that, a college-by-college merit list is released; if your name is on it, you can be admitted.

Admission to the B.Tech programme is subject to qualifying JEE Main examination. GIET offers B.Tech courses under five different specializations.
