Yes, some companies ask for the minimum percentage of marks in Board exams (Both class 10th and class 12th) in campus placements, As the first step to shortlist candidates. Mostly companies keep it around 60% and maximum it may go up to 70% for BIG MNCs.

Yes, a B.Voc in Hotel Management students can sit for these interviews. B.Voc is similar to other Bachelor degree programs. If you perform well in any of the coding challenges by any of the companies then you will be called for an interview irrespective of the branch. All branch students are eligible take coding challenges. Likewise, if you perform well in the coding challenges then you will get placed in an IT company.
