Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya has infrastructure for both indoor and outdoor sports. It has a 400-metre synthetic International Class II certified track, a football pitch, a hockey field, a cricket ground, basketball courts, tennis courts, floodlit volleyball courts, and handball courts. Indoor sports facilities include carrom, table tennis, chess, and ludo, amongst others.

David Gill, former CEO of Manchester United from 2003-2013 and Vice President of English Football Association, notably earned a BCom in Industrial, Economic and Business Studies in 1978.

Gill has also served as Vice President of FIFA under leadership of then president Sepp Blatter and is famous name among fans of English Football (Premier League).

PES University has multiple sports clubs, such as Mastodon Basketball for women, PESU Shuttlers for men, PESU Chess Mates,  and PESU Super Smash Bros., among others. These sports clubs are run by PES students. Students can also take sports, such as football, basketball, tennis, cricket, badminton, and more.

Sports scholarships at INSD Kolkata are available to any student who has earned notable achievements in any sports event of national or intrnational level. Students who wish to claim a sports scholarship must present proof of their achievements at such events.
