Yes, the Ramaiah Institute of Technology campus features facilities for many sports including a Badminton Court, Basketball Court, Tennis Court, Cricket field, Football grounds, Table Tennis Room, etc. These facilities are given with no extra charges to allow students room for extra-curricular growth as well as for the physical/mental health of students.

Yes, there are sports scholarship. Students must fulfil minimum academic eligibility and participation requirement. They have to participate in their choice of sports for at least 3 years in local, state and national level competitions. Submit documents including certificates or letters from coaches to verify participation and achievement level. International players get 100% scholarship, national participants who win Gold/Silver/Bronze medal get 50% and national level participants get 25% scholarship.

NIT Jalandhar sports facilities include 2 lawn tennis grounds with ample seating arrangements, three volleyball courts with flood lights and 2 basketball courts with seating arrangements and full flood lights. It also included a standard football and cricket grounds with a 400m athletics track and field. The NIT Jalandhar infrastructure also boasts a New students' activity centre equipped with 4 badminton courts and 4 table tennis tables. The new students' activity centre also contains specific rooms for yoga, chess, carrom, etc., for both boys and girls.
