Sree Chaitanya College of Engineering is a very good college and the faculty members here are very experienced and supportive and most of them are M.Tech and Ph.D. degrees. Students praise their expertise, hands-on method, and mentoring in the labs and projects. Though good quality standards are kept by most departments, some students cite discrepancy in the quality of teaching in some of their faculty. In great part, the quality of teaching staff is good.

Sree Chaitanya College of Engineering has a decent faculty but particularly in core branches like ECE and CSE, the teaching faculty is the problem. D degrees; The majority of them are either M.Tech or Ph.D. are valued for their teaching style, lab assistance and support. Although student opinions are generally positive, some say quality varies between departments and among professors.

Admission to Sree Chaitanya College of Engineering is fairly competitive. Allotment into the branches through TS EAMCET ranges from below 70,000 in Computer Science and higher in others. Those with lower ranks have the option to get admission through management quota (they should have minimum 50% in PCM). This is an easier method to get admitted, however, the fees would be higher.
