SRM Vadapalani application process is conducted in online mode. Aspirants can fill the complete application form online on the university's website. The university doesn't support offline applications. Check steps below to apply for SRMIST

The SRM Vadapalani accepted entrance examinations are SRMJEEE and others. The university accepts this entrance exam for admission to various courses. Candidates must appear for this entrance exam timely to avoid any problems. 

Candidates must pass Class 12 with at least 60% aggregate with Physics, Mathematics, and at least one of Chemistry/ Biotechnology /Biology /Computer Science /Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Engineering Graphics / Botany and Zoology to apply for BTech. Hence, aspirants with 70% in Class 12 can apply.

Candidates must complete Class 12 from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate to apply for BCom programme at SRM Vadapalani. The institute selects candidates for BCom course based on their qualifying exam scores.

SRM Vadapalani does accepts CAT scores for admission to MBA programme. Aspirants with CAT scores get direct admission. Such candidates have to directly come for the personal interview round. The institute also accepts scores in MAT, CMAT, XAT, etc. for MBA programme.

SRM Vadapalani Campus offers direct admission to courses based on qualifying exam scores of the aspirants. The selection for MBA programme is merit-based. Aspirants with CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT and other scores can get direct admission. Such candidates have to directly come for the personal interview round.

The documents shown here are required for SRM Institute of Science and Technology admissions:

• Passing certificate of the qualifying exam (either Class 12 and 10 or bachelor's/ master's degree as the case may be).
• Statement of marks at the qualifying examination and migration certificate (only for candidates passing Bachelor's/ Master's degree from other universities).
• Government-issued ID proof (Aadhaar card, passport, etc.)
• Passport-size photograph of candidate
• Category Certificate (if required)

Students must also pay application fees and complete the course requirements.

The question paper of SRMJEEE 2026 will have 35 questions from Physics and Chemistry each, 40 from Maths and 20 from English & Aptitude. The exam will be conducted online as home-based remoted proctored test.

Yes, SRM do accepts JEE Main score for admission to a few programs at certain campuses. As per the details available in the official website - "Any Candidate qualified in IIT JEE Main/SAT will be admitted directly even if the candidate doesn't take SRMJEEE."
