As per the official website of Hindustan Aerospace and Engineering Certificate, admission to the certificate course is subject to SSAT exam. However, merely appearing for SSAT 2025 or getting a high score in the exam does not guarantee admission to the HAE Pune course. Candidates must make sure to have a valid eligibility criteria as per the Certificate admission guidelines, in order to secure admission.

SAT is a gateway through which students can secure admission in aviation courses offered at various colleges of Sha-Shib group with a scholarship. SSAT is conducted by Sha-Shib Group in order to shortlist aspirants for admission in Aviation courses offered like Commercial Pilot License, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Cabin Crew/Airhostess, Ground Staff etc. There are 100 questions on the SSAT paper, each carrying one mark. Examinees will be given 2 hours to take the exam.

SSAT exam is conducted by Sha-Shib Group in order to shortlist aspirants for admission in Aviation courses offered like Commercial Pilot License, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Cabin Crew/ Air Hostess, Ground Staff, etc. Candidates willing to secure admission in the AME can attend the entrance exam. IAE Bhopal shortlists candidates for the BTech course based on candidates' performance in the SSAT exam. The eligibility criteria for SSAT exam is to have Class 12 with subjects such as Physics (P), Chemistry (C), and Mathematics (M)/ Biology (B). Apart from this, candidates who possess a three-year Diploma in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks also meet the eligibility criteria for SSAT 2024. Candidates who are in their final semester are also eligible to apply for SSAT 2025.

No, the SSAT 2025 exam is not compulsory for admission to the BSc course at the Institute of Aeronautics and Engineering Bhopal, Bhopal. For admission to the BSc+dual programme with Aircraft Maintenance Engineering candidates must have Class 12 with a minimum score of 50% or equivalent in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as core subjects from a recognised board, university, or its equivalent. However, if candidates want they can apply for the Sha-Shib Scholarship & Aptitude Test (SSAT) exam. Based on the exam's score candidates are offered scholarships and admission for the BSc course.
