Yes, candidates need to pay INR 100 per question as the fee for challenging the SSC CHSL answer key. The Staff Selection Commission first releases a tentative SSC CHSL answer key. In case any candidate is not satisfied with the answer, he or she can challenge the same it in the prescribed format. No, SSC CHSL result is announced based on the final answer key of the exam. The marks of the candidates are normalised. The answer key is very important to know the official answers to the questions.

No, the SSC CHSL answer key is released only for Tier 1 paper as it is held online containing the objective-type multiple choice questions (MCQs). The SSC CHSL Tier 2 is a descriptive test and hence, there is no answer key for Tier 2 exam. The CHSL Tier 1 answer key is released in two phases- tentative and final.

The Staff Selection Commission releases two types of SSC CHSL answer keys- tentative and final. The SSC CHSL tentative answer key is released soon after the conduct of the exam. Candidates can raise objections against the tentative key if they are not satisfied with the given answer of a question. The SSC CHSL final answer key is released after the examinations of these objections.
