No, the SSC does not send CHSL admit card by post to any candidate. Candidates only have the option of downloading the SSC CHSL admit card from the official website. In case, any candidate is not able to download his/her admit card one week before the exam, s/he must immediately contact the concerned regional/sub-regional office of SSC with the proof of having submitted his/her application.

No, SSC CHSL exam centre once allotted cannot be changed. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) does not entertain any request for the change of examination centre after the submission of application form or the issue of admit card. Candidates need to appear for the SSC CHSL exam at the exam centre mentioned on their respective admit cars.

You should download and sprint your SSC CHSL admit card again from a nearby cyber cafe and then carry it to the test centre. SSC CHSL admit card is an essential document to secure admission to the exam centre and appear in the examination. The exam centre is mentioned in the SSC CHSL admit card only. The admit cars are released separately by the regional website of the SSC.

The maximum number of the SSC CHSL vacancies are usually released for the reserved category, that is, General. The Commission makes the selection of candidates based on the vacancies reported by the Indenting Departments/ Organizations. The Commission does not have any role in deciding the number of vacancies of any Indenting Department/ Organization. The implementation of reservation policy,  maintaining reservation roster, earmarking of vacancies for different categories and identification of stability of post for suitable for various benchmarked disabilities are also under the domain of the Indenting Departments/ Organizations.
