In order to submit SSC CHSL follow the process as, go the ssc.gov.in, register, fill the online form, upload documents, pay fees, and submit. To prepare, know General Intelligence syllabus, English syllabus, Quant syllabus and General awareness syllabus. To get quicker and more accurate, use old papers and mock tests, work on weak points so that they improve with frequency.

No, the SSC CHSL 2025 application last date was not extended. The last date to apply online for the SSC CHSL 2025 exam was July 18, 2025. Candidates should submit their applications on time without waiting for the last date. The Commission did not extend the last date of SSC CHSL application form submission.

No, the SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam is not qualifying in nature. In Tier 1, it is compulsory to clear all 4 sections. Based on the performance in Sections 1 and 2 of the Tier 2 exam, candidates are shortlisted for evaluation of Section 3 (Computer Knowledge Test) and Section 4 (Skill Test/ Typing Test). However, the Computer Knowledge Test and Skill Test/ Typing Test are qualifying in nature. The SSC CHSL final merit list is prepared based on the overall performance of candidates in CHSL Tier 2 exam only.

The SSC CHSL Tier 2 comprises an online exam (Objective Type questions) and Skill Test/ Typing Test. Candidates who clear the Tier 1 exam need to appear for the SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam. There are 4 sections in the Tier 2 exam, and it is mandatory for candidates to clear all four sections of the exam and obtain the cut-off marks.

Yes, there is negative marking in the SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam. In SSC CHSL 2025 Tier 2, each question carries 3 marks. For each wrong answer in the exam, there is a negative marking of 1 mark in Section-I, Section-II and Section-III. Candidates should mark their answers carefully while answering the questions. Wrong answers ultimately reduce the scores in the exam.

No, there is no descriptive paper in the SSC CHSL examination. There are two tiers in SSC CHSL - Tier 1 and Tier 2. Both tiers comprise an online objective-type exam containing multiple-choice questions (MCQs). However, the Tier 2 includes Skill Test or Typing Test as well.

  1. Tier 1: Online exam (Objective Type)
