Candidates can do the necessary rough work on test booklet/question paper. Candidates should not do the rough work on the answer sheet of any other paper. If any rough work is done on the answer sheet it will not be assessed.

Candidates can use black ink pen/black ball-point pen for filling up the Part-A of Side 1, Part-B of Side I and Side 2 of the answer sheet. Candidates need to handover the answer sheet after the exam gets over. Answer sheets and question papers are supplied inside the examination hall. Any candidate who does not hand over answer sheet or is found to attempting to take answer sheet out of the examination hall will be disqualified and the Commission will take further action against him as per rule.

Travelling allowance is not offered to candidates appearing for written examination for any candidate. They need to reach the exam centre at their own cost. Candidates should check the location of the exam centre one day before the exam. Candidates should reach the exam centre early to avoid any last-minute hassle.

No request for change of centre will be considered later under any circumstances. Candidates are advised to select SSC CPO exam centres carefully. SSC reserves the right to cancel any centre and ask the candidates to appear from another centre.

Applicants filling SSC CPO application form are required to enter their preferences of exam cities in the form. Candidates must enter three options for the exam centres in the order of priority within the same region. The examination authority reserves the right to allot test cities to candidates. The examination authority also reserves the right to cancel any of the given test cities. The exam cities once chosen by candidates cannot be changed. Therefore, candidates should enter their preferences of test cities carefully.

The exam is conducted online across various cities spread throughout the country, There are more than 100 test cities for SSC CPO exam.
