It is not tough to crack SSC CPO exam if candidates have prepared it well. Candidates should prepare a proper strategy to crack the exam. The strategy should include solving the previous years' question papers, mock test, going the exam pattern and syllabus. Candidates should study regularly.

SSC CPO 2023-24 notification was released on July 22, 2023. Earlier, the notification was scheduled to be released on July 20. However, it was delayed by the examination authority. SSC CPO exam is conducted from October 3 to 6, 2023. The application form was available from July 22 to August 15, 2023.  The notification was released in PDF form and it comprises all the necessary details related to the exam. Candidates must read the notification before applying to the exam.

Candidates have the facility to edit SSC CPO application form. To edit the application form, candidates need to login using registration number and password. Candidates need to then click on ‘Modify Registration’ tab and make necessary changes. Candidates should take care while editing the entries in the basic details part. If the SSC CPO application form status is showing incomplete after making one payment, it means that fee is not received by the Commission from the Bank. Status of fee payment can be verified at the ‘Payment Status’ or ‘Double Verification of Payment’ links provided in the candidate’s login screen. Candidates can wait for two to three days and re-check. In case, payment status is still incomplete, they can check their bank accounts for refund of fee amount. SSC CPO application fee is INR 100 for General and OBC candidates. All female candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Schedule Tribe, Persons with benchmark Disabilities (Divyangjans) and ExServicemen candidates eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee. Candidates should check the matriculation certificate. If roll number code is also given in addition to roll number then in the registration form, candidates should enter roll number in the following format:

“Roll Code”-“Roll No”. For example, if the Roll Code given in the Matriculation Certificate is 12345 and Roll No is 1234567, then candidates have to enter Roll No in column as 12345-1234567.
