Students are required to score at least 33% marks to pass the GSEB SSC exam. Any candidate failing to score the 33% marks will have to appear for GSEB 10th supplementary examination. Students must obtain minimum of grade 'D' in all subjects to clear GSEB SSC exam. Differently abled students have to score 20% to clear GSEB SSC Exam.

The Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC exam calendar 2026-27 on its Central Portal - ssc.gov.in. The Commission released the tentative notification, application and exam dates for most of its exam. The actual dates will be released later.

The SSC MTS Tier 1 exam was started online on February 4, 2026. The Commission started the slot selection facility from January 15, 2026. The admit card were released on February 1, 2026.
