The SSC GD full form is Staff Selection Commission General Duty. The complete exam name is SSC GD Constable recruitment, which is a yearly exam conducted at the national level. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) and the Union Ministry of Home Affairs hold this exam every year for Constable GD, Rifleman GD and Sepoy posts in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assam Rifle.

In the SSC GD exam, candidates need to give their preferences for posts while filling out the online form. Candidates need to choose seven Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) in order of priority. It is compulsory to fill out a total of seven SSC GD post preferences of forces in the application form. 

The final answer key for the SSC GD Constable 2025 was published on 26 June 2025 on the official SSC website (ssc.gov.in)  it will  available until 10 July 2025. It can be downloaded after login with the candidates' roll number and password. It includes the response sheets which will help in estimate  the scores before the declaration of the results.

The SSC GD Constable Result 2025 was declared on June 17, 2025, and is available for download on the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in. Candidates can check their results, cut-off marks, and merit list directly on the website without needing to log in. The results are available in PDF format, and candidates can search for their roll numbers within the PDF.

The SSC GD 2026 application form will be released in October 2025. The SSC GD Constable application form will be available for around a month time. The SSC GD PET/PST admit card 2025 was released on August 8, 2025. The SSC GD result 2025 of CBE has been announced, and the candidates are waiting for the release of physical test admit cards. The CRPF will soon release the admit cards on its official website for the shortlisted candidates.

On the other hand, SSC GD 2026 admit card will be released in January 2026, around four days before the notified exam date.
