Candidates should do the necessary rough work on test booklet/question paper. Candidates should not do rough work on the answer sheet or any other paper. If any rough work is done on the answer sheet your answer sheet will not be assessed.

Candidates can bring ink pen/black ballpoint pen for filling up the Part A of Side 1, Part-B of Side I and Side 2 of the answer sheet. Besides this, candidates are not allowed to carry anything to the exam centre.

Mobile phones, pagers, etc. are not allowed inside the examination Hall. Candidates who are found to possess Mobile or Cellular Phones, Pager and other unauthorised electronic gadgets after commencement of the examination, whether in use or not, will be deemed to be using unfair means and would be liable to disciplinary action as deemed fit, including ban from future examinations conducted by SSC. Their candidate will also be cancelled for the examination.

Candidates are not allowed to carry books, slide rules, notebooks, pagers, mobile phones, written notes, calcultors and other electronic gadgets inside the exam hall. Candidate who is found either copying or receiving assistance will be disqualified. Candidate offering assistance to other candidates will also be disqualified.

Candidates must be present in the SSC JHT exam centre at least half-an-hour before the exam and they are not allowed to leave the exam centre until the exam is over. Candidates arriving after commencement of the examination are not permitted to enter the Examination Hall.

The details related to SSC JHT exam centre are mentioned in the admit card. Candidates are required to appear for the exam at the exam centre allotted to them. Candidates can download their admit cards by logging with the required credentials.

Candidates can check below few important points related to SSC JHT exam centres:
- No request for change of SSC JHT exam centres will be considered under any circumstances
- Candidates should select the SSC JHT exam centres carefully and indicate the same correctly in the application form
- The commission will accommodate candidates in SSC JHT exam centres opted by them
- SSC reserves the right to cancel any exam centre and ask candidates of that centre to appear from another centre
- The commission also reserves the right to divert candidates of any exam centre to some other centre to take the exam

SSC JHT exam cities are allotted to candidates as per their preferences. However, the examination authority reserves the right to allot test cities to candidates. In case of unavailablity of exam centres in the chosen test city, candidates are allotted centre in the next available test city.
