The candidates should note that the SSC MTS job is a central government job and it is governed by the Central Government service rules notified from time to time. The salary of the SSC MTS posts change with the city of posting and the corresponding Dearness Allowance fixed by the Government of India from Time to time. Apart from that, the expected increment in the SSC MTS salary is given as per the following time :

SSC MTS salary is one of the lowest among the Central Government Employees. The Central Government increased the Dearness Allowance of its employees to 50 % which was later further increased. The candidates can check here the SSC MTS salary in the Class X cities. The Salary structure is as follows:
